Marshall’s Glen – Front Royal’s Newest Community

On August 26, 2024, the Front Royal Town Council approved Rappahannock Development Group’s (RDG) rezoning application for Marshall’s Glen, a 104-unit single-family subdivision located along Leach Run Parkway near Warren Memorial Hospital.  Described by the Town as “the perfect place to settle in and venture out,” Front Royal is “tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountain and the north entrance to Skyline Drive.”  Located along the strategic I-66 corridor approximately 70 miles west of Washington, D.C., Marshall’s Glen will appeal to homebuyers looking for small town charm and easy access to recreational opportunities in the Blue Ridge Mountains within a short commute to northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. 

RDG purchased the property in March 2024 and submitted the rezoning application to increase the permitted residential density of the project to better comply with the Town’s Comprehensive Plan.   Construction is expected to begin in late 2025 once engineering plans have been approved.  RDG is teaming up with homebuilder NVR/Ryan Homes to provide a mix of single-family detached home models ranging from 2,800 to 4,500 s.f.
